Abstract
The first Eastern Regional Mini Convention of AF A will be held on April 7 and 8 in Washington, D.C. at the Holiday Inn in historic "Old Town", Alexandra, across the Potomac from the nation's capitol. This will be the most exciting bird event ever held on the East Coast. The "Bird Mart" will be open for buying, selling, trading, and conversation. The Board of Directors Meeting will be followed by an afternoon of interesting and informative speakers on breeding, nutrition, genetics, etc. Round table discussions on individual bird species will be lead by nationally recognized expert breeders.
A banquet will be held in the evening, than to top it off, a once-in-a-life-time tour to one of the country's outstanding breeding facilities. All this and the excitement of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington at the same time!
