Abstract
Birdhearts! What are you doing just
sitting there? You have things to do,
darlings. The convention is nearly upon
us! It's just a few weeks away, a matter of
days, really! Rona has been dashing here
and dashing there. You know, the
hairdresser, the florist, the bird sitter.
Tryouts are being held for the banquet
entertainment! Rona and the Birdettes
have been rehearsing for days. Again.
Maybe this year. It 's so strenuous,
darlings , but so worthwhile. Tap
dancing your way into the hearts and
minds of convention committees these
days isn't as easy as it used to be, I can
tell you that, birdhearts!
