Abstract
The U.S. Postal Service issued on May 10, 1991 a new 2 ounce stamp with the likeness of a pair of Fischer's Lovebirds. This new stamp, costing 52 cents, is designed for use on typical wedding invitations and of course the image of a loving pair of birds is selfexplanatory to the betrothed. (Little do they know that sometimes image belies reality, especially with lovebirds!) Nancy L. Krause, the artist for this beautiful rendition of one of the aviculture's favorite birds, is a parrot owner and AFA's newest member.
