Abstract
The Great American Cage Bird Show sponsored by Kaytee Products was held in Chicago October 3-4, 1986 at the Ramada O'Hare Hotel. Over 2200 birds were benched, making this event one of the largest shows ever staged. An exhibitor's hall overflowed with bird enthusiasts checking out the latest bird products, while training and taming lectures were conducted throughout the day. A series of seminars were held on bird care, legislation affecting aviculture, and other subjects of avicultural importance.
