Abstract
As it has at most past AFA conventions, the Watchbird Photo Comest again graced the commercial booth area with an array of unique photos that caught every passing eye. The Washington, D. C. photo comest committee did a fine job displaying the many color prints -by far the largest group of entries.
On Friday, August 6th, a panel of five judges, M. Jean Hessler, Dale R. Thompson, Robert Berry, Helen Willet, and Joe McLaughlin, spent several hours deliberating over nearly 100 entrees (slides and prims) before the winners were chosen.
