Leah Cuddeback, Graphics Editor

Leah grew up in southern Illinois, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri and spent her childhood visiting Texas to spend time with her grandparents and the Blanco river. She moved to San Marcos for college and graduated from Texas State University in 2018 with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Honors Studies. At Texas State, she enjoyed leading mammalogy field trips to west Texas, studying teen volunteers at the Saint Louis Zoo, and driving glass bottom boats at Spring Lake.

Leah has spent nearly a decade in informal science education as a summer camp counselor, an environmental interpreter, and a project coordinator with The Shield Ranch’s El Ranchito Conservation Corps. Leah currently works for both The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment and the Hill Country Alliance as a Program and Outreach Specialist.

In her free time, Leah enjoys spontaneous road trips, cat-sitting for friends, and living in Wimberley with her grandfather.
