Abstract

Among the challenges of Digital Humanities efforts is the need to address access issues including access to tools for content creation as well as the need to create user-friendly tools for humanities scholars.  This paper offers a case study of a collaboration between members of the English faculty and IT support group at Miami University for development of the Poetess Archive with a discussion of how access issues were addressed in this project.  The suitability of this type of project for a project-based computer science course is also discussed.
