Abstract
â' The grain size accumulation curve obtained by an image picture is comparable as the mechanical sieving technique â'¡With decreasing of the diameter of sand grain, the value of roundness increases. So the shape of sand grain gets in a perfect circle and the distributions of roundness frequency show the Gaussian distribution.â'¢The sediment path way along the beaches on Awaji Island estimated by the expanded model corresponds to observation data very well.â'£The statistical significant level of the expanded model for sediment transport path way increases with introducing the value of roundness.References
