Author Guidelines

Authors are advised that all manuscripts must be in English language. Authors should follow the format and style described in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA; 7th ed.). Consult the APA Manual for formatting instructions, as well as instructions on preparing tables, figures, references, metrics, and abstracts.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found by clicking on the tab labeled About the Journal.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); 10 -30 double-spaced pages; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end of the manuscript.

    1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
    2.
