Abstract

The E-Commerce GameTM teaches participants how to compete more effectively in E-commerce as they learn the importance of continuous strategic decision-making. Participants must make appropriate funding choices that will serve to enhance the firm’s position in the marketplace. Valid strategic marketing decisions regarding target markets, price, product/services, and promotion strategies will serve to maintain and enhance the firm’s viability. Exogenous occurrences are built into the game to teach about both monitoring the external environment and how uncontrollable events can affect and imperil a firm. The game is designed for one or many players, or teams.
