Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain the use of Honey and Mumford’s (1986) Learning Styles Questionnaire in Hong Kong. Data were collected from 115 undergraduates and 193 MBA students at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Analysis was made to find out the differences in terms of learning styles between male and female students, undergraduates and postgraduates, and students studying in different disciplines. Recommendations are made on improving teaching and learning in higher education, with special reference to the management field.
