Problem Solving: An Exercise on Learning, Coaching, and Operant Conditioning
Abstract
This paper presents an experiential exercise designed to put into practice individual and small group behavioral aspects of learning, coaching, and operant conditioning. After attempting to solve a hard problem individually, a series of meetings are held with coaches utilizing different styles of coaching. The effect of the different styles of coaching upon the success of problemsolving, as well as the problems encountered in operationalizing the different styles of coaching are the point of the exercise.Downloads
