What’s the Problem? A Dynamic Model for Teaching Problem Solving Skills Experientially
Abstract
This paper discusses an experiential learning (role-play) exercise based on problem solving methodologies proposed by Kepner and Tregoe. IL has been used successfully over several years to teach managerial problem solving skills in a wide variety of settings, and with a wide variety of students and trainees. The exercise has proven to be a powerful, dynamic teaching and learning tool that consistently and predictably produces positive learning results.Downloads
