Focus and Scope

The Association for Business Simulation and Experiential learning (ABSEL) is a cross-dscipline, international pedagogical conference that examines all aspects of teaching. As the name implies, special emphasis is placed on business related experiential learning and simulations, but all disciplines and areas of pedagogy are welcome.

  • Types of Submissions:  ABSEL accepts submissions on a broad range of subjects related to Experiential Learning including but not limited to submissions discussing theoretical models, empirical research, quantitative research, qualitative research, literature reviews, cases, demonstrations, games, exercises, simulations, and other work related to creative or innovative teaching and learning methods.  We accept proposals for round table and panel discussions.  We also accept abstracts of papers that will be ready for presentation at the meeting.
  • Participants:  In addition to teachers and researchers, we encourage participation from students and professionals.
