Abstract

A knowledge of the frequency spectrum is necessary for working a number of applied problems concerning wave parameter calculations, ship rolling, effects of wave loads upon sea structures and so on. According to the data of work /1/ the frequency spectrum in deep sea may be represented as the following equation: -/ -k BQL) = A/*- exp(-B/tt ) (D The spectra obtained from the experiments on parameter values of 1 and k may be divided into three groups (Table 1).
