SOME PROBLEMS CAUSED BY BUILDING THE CROSS DYKE ACROSS TOKYO BAY

Abstract


Two hydraulic problems anticipated from the construction of a dike across Tokyo Bay, i e water circulation and 'harbor paradox' are discussed from results of numerical experiments Especially, a new technique has been devised for the investigation of response characteristics of the bay to obtain all the information by only one run.
