GRAPHICAL RECORDING OF WAVE PROFILES IN THE LABORATORY; HARMONIC ANALYSIS

Abstract


We have developed a laboratory wave recorder of great simplicity which plots a wave profile to a scale which can be either 1 or 3 for the amplitude and which varies between 0,5 and 1 for the horizontal distances.

The apparatus, the principle of which we have already described at a time when we had not proved all its possibilities, has shown itself to be extremely sensitive for the study of fine phenomena.
