MODELING ON-SHORE SEDIMENT TRANSPORT USING ENERGETICS MODELS

Qun Zhao, James T Kirby, Jack A Puleo

Abstract

In this paper, we re-derived the Bagnold formula and showed that the net onshore sediment transport is correlated to the bottom shear stress. The reformulated model is tested with data and
and showed very promising future.
